Privacy Policy
Draft37 (“we”) is a browser extension and service that finds Reddit conversations where your product could help and helps you draft a reply, which you post yourself. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our customers and the people whose public Reddit posts and comments pass through Draft37. The short version
- Draft37 reads Reddit through your own browser and Reddit login, and never posts, comments or messages anyone.
- We use data to run and improve Draft37. We never sell it.
- Anyone can ask us to remove their data at support@draft37.com.
What we collect
- Account details, such as your name, email address and sign-in information. If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google profile.
- Your Reddit username and basic details of the Reddit account you connect.
- Information about your product that you give us or that we draft from your website, such as what it does, who it is for and the communities you watch.
- Public Reddit content that may be relevant to you, such as posts and comments with their authors’ usernames and links.
- How you use Draft37, such as the leads you act on, and technical data such as your IP address and browser. Our website uses cookies to keep you signed in.
- Messages you send us, and your email address if you join the waitlist.
How we use it
- To provide Draft37, including finding and assessing conversations and helping you draft replies.
- To maintain, secure and improve the service, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
- To communicate with you about your account and about Draft37.
- To comply with the law and enforce our terms.
Where EU or UK data protection law applies, we rely on our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running, improving and protecting Draft37, our legal obligations, and your consent where we ask for it. Information that has been aggregated or de-identified so it no longer identifies anyone is not personal information, and we may use it for any purpose.
How Draft37 reads Reddit
The extension reads Reddit from your computer, through your own logged-in Reddit session, while your browser is open. It only reads. We never receive your Reddit password or session cookie. Content that may be relevant to you is sent to our servers so it can be assessed.
If your Reddit post appeared in Draft37
Draft37 processes public posts and comments from Reddit, including the author’s username, the text and a link, so that a customer can find conversations where their product may help. We do this on the basis of legitimate interests. We don’t sell this content, and no decision with legal or similarly significant effects is made about you. To have your content removed, email support@draft37.com with a link to the post or comment, or your username. You don’t need an account.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that work for us, such as hosting, AI, email and payment providers.
- Authorities or others when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users or others.
- A buyer or successor, as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- Anyone else, only with your consent.
We don’t sell personal information or share it with advertisers. Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States, with the safeguards the law requires.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to comply with the law, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Account information is kept while your account is open. Reddit posts and comments that don’t become leads are erased after 90 days. A lead is kept until you clear it, delete its Watch or close your account. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of sending or storing data is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security. Keeping your sign-in details safe is up to you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw consent you gave. Email support@draft37.comand we will respond as the law requires. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
Draft37 is not meant for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Chrome Web Store
Draft37’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to theChrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version, and we’ll give any notice the law requires.
